Join us on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for an easy-paced  trail walk through Dam Pond. If tide permits,  walk through marsh to the beach on the sound. Join us for some or all of the hike.

This county-owned 36-acre park has nature trails and a view of Dam Pond that cannot be seen from the Main Road if you’re crossing the Orient-East Marion causeway. Along your walk view the spring migration of birds, its unique maritime red cedar forest, salt scrub and a shallow tidal pond that exits into Orient Harbor.
