Barbara is a life-long Long Islander with a 20-year massage and wellness practice along with her career as an artist. Her art has included collage, ceramics, sculpture, and painting. She is inspired by the beauty and spirit of nature on the North Fork and captures landscapes in the moment—emphasizing color, light, and setting rather than narrative. Each work transports the viewer to a special place from lily ponds, pebbled beaches, and golden fields, to harbors, boats, and wildlife. Her paintings breathe life and movement onto the canvas.
